Costs

We have a temporary membership scheme for new members which costs £3, which will be deducted from the first full membership subscription.

Membership subscriptions are payable annually in February, but new members can join part-way through the year for a reduced charge The rates for 2005 are as follows:

Full Year £35.00
May, June or July £26.00
August, September or October £17.00
November, December or January £8.00
Rates are reviewed by members at the AGM each November.

Your events details will automatically be forwarded to our Activities Co-ordinator and you will receive an email of the details you submitted, for your record.

Benefits and other Information

Full members

Are eligible for Discounts: As a member of Swindon IVC you are entitled to discounts with Neilsons Holidays, Columbus Travel Insurance and the Youth Hostelling Association (group membership for use by groups of five or more). Contact a member of the committee for further details.
Receive a monthly programme of events.
Receive an address list of full members.
Are able to receive and post messages via the clubs Yahoo email group list. This is largely used to give updates on events and to publicise impromtu events which which didn't make the programme. See guide on using this service.

Most members live in and around Swindon. The organization is ideal for people who may be new to an area, or want to expand their social circle after living in an area for some time and go out and do things. Swindon IVC is a part of the national Association of Inter-Varsity Clubs (AIVC) which currently comprises 46 individual clubs.
