Swindon IVC Book Club

The Swindon IVC book club is a sub-group for members of Swindon IVC. The bookclub meets about once every 4 to 6 weeks at different people's houses. A theme/genre is chosen and then a book (or two) is picked for that month. Very informal and sociable so, if you like talking about books, having a good discussion, and meeting up over a drink and some nibbles, why not come along?

Next meeting is 7:30pm Friday 24th February 2012. Please bring contributions to a buffet meal.
The chosen books for February are on autobiography/biography theme, and we have chosen to read from a choice of two: "Business stripped bare: Adventure of a global entrepreneur" by Richard Branson (This is the second autobiography from him) or "Steve Jobs - The Exclusive Biography" by Walter Isaacson.


To help with book choice, we usually suggest a theme/genre for the next choice at the previous meeting: currently (I think) we are looking for suggestions for a classic, so please come along with suggestions!


New members are very welcome but should contact the host in advance so they get included on the time and other last minute details of the next meeting

The bookclub has set up its own YahooGroups list to aid communication - currently administered by Richard S - please ask if you would like to be added.
